Scenariusz Przedstawienia Kukiełkowego

Banh Mi Cao Thang

new restaurant is the favorite of John Paul. Saturday we decided to go eat in Chinatown and it was a moment that he wanted to test Banh Mi Cao Thang restaurant specializes in Vietnamese sandwiches.

For those unfamiliar, a Vietnamese sandwich is a sandwich consisting of a half baguette topped with grated carrots, cilantro, cucumber, Maggi sauce and choice of meat (usually Vietnamese pate and bacon but find little in the spring rolls or grilled chicken, etc.)

As he was going to work a little Saturday morning, we decided to return directly to Chinatown because we were also to go shopping. It had been two weeks since we had no rice at home (catastrophe!!) So we went out and bought a bag of 22 kg (whew, we are relieved!).

We went at 1082 St. Laurent Blvd in Banh Mi Cao Thang where John Paul ordered a pork sandwich and I, three spring rolls and a bottle of water, all for the modest sum of $ 9. And my god, what was it good!

For my part, I am delighted to have finally found a place in Montreal, where I can buy good spring rolls. For his part, Jean-Paul was over the moon. So that just about every hour in the afternoon, he told me "I do not want to repeat myself but what he was good my sandwich for lunch" .. He even continued during the intermission of the concert by Pierre Lapointe!

Finally here is a new address which is in addition to the house and Kamfung Jade Garden!

As Banh Mi Cao Thang is more or less on the way to work by Jean-Paul, I feel that one will often eat in the evening next month;) yum yum
