After a very quiet night we enter the last one stretch ¨ river and canal. Very disappointing, the main channel is much less beautiful than the other alternative, the Dismal Canal. The vegetation is not as nice, lots of branches and trunks of trees in midwater float, for cons, the water level is less · annoying ¨ Dismal as that of which is between 6 and 8 feet ... What is missing, is the extraordinary welcome given by the ¨ ¨ Buddies Rose Elizabeth City ¨ exit Dismal. Another irritant is the three bridges that were impossible to follow a schedule for a sailboat, a result, half past one waiting.
